Susan Ann Farley

Susan Ann Farley, 41, from Pembroke, departed this life on August 29, 2018. She was the daughter of Mable Ann Farley from Pembroke. She was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Ann Farley. She worked some at K Mart and VT. She attended different churches to play and sing. She passed all three tests to get the diplomas in ministry to preach. She taught herself to play guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, keyboard, autoharp and tambourine. She enjoyed reading her Bible, collecting Gospel songs, work Bible word searches, reading Bible books, working puzzles, collecting dolls. She played and sung in different nursing homes, assisting living places, festivals, and also WBLB radio station in Pulaski, VA as The Faithful Gospel Singers. Her favorite color was red.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her Mom, Mable Ann Ffarley, a sister Carolyn Diane Farley from Pembroke, a brother Richard Lynn Farley from Newport, VA, and two Chihuahusas dogs, Precious Joy and Diamond Lee which she loved dearly. She has some other kinfolks, Polly Ann Spicer and family from Narrows, Sister-in-lawAnna Jean Farley and family, Shirley Ratcliffe and family from Pembroke, Carolyn Ann Farley from Narrows, Freddie and Bobbie Hernandez and Family. The family know Susan Ann Farley is now resting in Jesus until Jesus return to take His children to Heaven. (Ecclesiastes 9:5 and John 5:28-29 and I Thessalonians 4:14-17)

Visitation were held September 3, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke. Funeral services were held September 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jackie Thacker officiating, and Pastor William Pyles offering prayers and a message about Susan.. Burial were held in Birchlawn Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Sister Marissa Pyles will play hymns while people are coming in.
