Donnie Lee Havens, 70, of College St. in Narrows departed this life Monday evening, August 6, 2018 at his home in the loving care of his family and hospice. Born in Bland County on July 3, 1948, he was a son of the late William E Havens “Buss” and Anna Kate Ramsey Spicer. He had been employed in electricians work installing burglar alarms and attended the Cedar Grove Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, his great grandson Landen Hightower, sister Charlotte Jean Kellison, half-brothers Wallace Stowers, Ross Stowers, William Stowers, and Charles Havens, half sisters Victoria Muncy, Olla Belle Havens, and Ethel Havens, and grandparents Wiley and Victoria Havens.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of fifty years Patricia Bradley Havens; his son and daughter-in-law Danny Lee and Barbara Havens of Princeton, WV; his daughters and sons-in-law Anna and David Maxey of Newport, Julie and Curtis Lambert of Princeton, WV; his brother and sister-in-law William Jr and Alison Havens of Newport News; his grandchildren Shane (Frances), Kody (Megan), Kaden, Matthew (Taylor), Andrew (Emily), Logan, Landon (Haleigh), Jacob, Jordan, (Cole), Draylon; and two great- grandsons, Paysen and Brayden.
