Frank Wayne Price, "Tootie"

FRANK WAYNE PRICE “Tootie”, 73, formerly of Pembroke and later of Stuart departed this life for his heavenly home Monday, February 13, 2017. Born in Emporia on October 5, 1943, he was a son the late Gilbert Price, Sr. and Iva Vaught Price. Tootie spent sixteen years in the service of his country in the United States Navy primarily stationed in Hawaii discharged at the rank of Chief Boatswain and was a lifetime member of the VFW. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and listening to country music. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Henry Fletcher Price, and Russell Price, sisters Edna Price and Healen Price Meadows.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers Gilbert B Price, Jr.of Stuart and Gary Ray Morris Price of Dublin; two nephews Tracy Price and David Price, and one special niece Gwen Price Lytton, and several great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, February 18, 2017 in Birchlawn Abbey in Pearisburg at 11:00 am with military honors by local VFW and American Legion Posts. The family will receive friends at the mausoleum chapel after the services. The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is in charge of the arrangements.
